I have got to agree with you on this. Takeda has had some massive news coming out with amazing positivity and hasn't felt a good slap on the back from the market. If Japan approves Moderna's vaccine, or anything positive comes from this acquisition's portfolio, then Takeda is on a serious spike up. Terrible news, COVID is never going away, variants will keep popping up that need to be addressed with a vaccine booster, just like the flu. Moderna is setting itself up to be the one company army to deliver that with their massive amounts of inhouse manufacturing. This deal with Moderna lines Takeda up to get consistent year on year profits in its home market, which is where a massive amount of its business comes from. I also wouldn't be surprised if this is the only acquisition they make, they have become extremely active in the Boston biotech circles, setting themselves up to be quite cozy to the startup atmosphere and pick the ripe ones from the vine. I am extremely bullish on Takeda's growth opportunities and their business profile is complimenting that.
