Where do you think we are heading? Short-term up, long-term down
It's very simple, the market is in downtrend and won't be going up anytime soon. I spot a bullish wedge that may pump the price in the short-term but we have a long way to go still for the next bull trend. For those that think, we may soon have a bull run for any of the coins, $BTC, or $LTC (because of the halving), it's just not going to happen.
Short term:
- $BTC will touch $4000, and come down
- $ETH will bounce to $120, and hit a heavy resistance
- $LTC will touch $38-40
This market really needs a catastrophic event for it to turn around. The bleeding has just started, and I truly feel the technology isn't there yet - we are yet to see a powerful application with millions of "active" users. Don't get me wrong, we are getting there - the $ETH upgrade, and the lightning network is going to change the scene completely in the next few months, but we still have time for things to stabilize. Moreover, the news isn't helping...
- Exchanges shutting down
- Projects laying off talent
- Funding running out for some good projects
- ETF won't be approved anytime before October
- WEF panel shilling $BTC, and saying it will go to ZERO
This is just the beginning, bleeding will continue for the next few months and the "real" capitulation will begin in the summer. That being said, you should define a strategy to continue or start your accumulation, because when the prices drop - they won't be there for a long-time. So, it's important to continue to add some to your portfolio while you can, and like always don't be greedy, don't try to predict the bottom or the top, you just won't be able to. The big whales are waiting to pour cash in, and I feel these prices are a little too high for them to buy, why not buy something cheaper when you can spread a lil FUD and shake the weak hands!
I am a novice, and no expert when it comes to this, but I am passionate about the technology and I think we are stepping into a new era where the giants like $AMZN, and $GOOG are going to get some tough competition, not anytime soon but give it 5 years. The next generation platforms (EOS, ETH, NULS to name a few), apps (quite a few), devices (HTC, PundiX, and many others) are being built right this second. The next revolution is going to be crazy, and I am stoked for it!
