I don't know guys, we broke a structural trendline helding from 2017. We are currently at 56bn cap for altcoins, below 40bn there is literally a dark fall.
Is it just me or this does not look very promising for altcoins?
To be honest with you I am a BTC maximalist, I would not care much about all other 2000 cryptos disappearing, nonetheless there are other alt that I like and considering the huge upside potential and they are worthy a try. One is link (as you can see in the attached idea). I have other 4, excluding BTC

Altcoins create innovation, create different use-cases, create more options.
So as a BTC maximalist, I would think twice. The only think you want to say is that you're afraid of risks by saying you're a BTC maximalist.

@tomdelic, BTC is not the least volatile asset on earth, so I would not consider myself as afraid of risks. I simply do not act by fear or enthusiasm, but as rationally as I can. Calculated risks yes, gambling, well, no thanks. And rationally I see that BTC has 7x the market cap of the 2nd crypto. Other alts in the top 10 are 3 used exclusively for trading (2 stable coins and 1 exchange coin), 3 others whose code is a copy of BTC (btc cashes and litecoin), ripple which is not a crypto as we intend it as it is not decentralized, eos who raised 8bn in ICO and now is worth 2 with nothing delivered in 2 years (0% market share in tokens) and Tezos. So, exactly, beside ethereum, which really brought an innovative perspective for using the blockchain in a different way, yet not exploitable on large scale, which would be the use case and innovation altcoins brought so far?
