Your strategy though assumes that the trend stays constant. Tech plays a much more central role in our lives than even 2 years ago. I wouldn't be surprised if in 10 years, looking back, you see that trend back took a hard pivot upwards right at March 2020.

@slavrenz, logarithmic scale helps account for that, but yes, i believe it may have broken the trend as well. but this is charting, not speculating.
