$TSLA PRIVATE AT $420?

Tesla, Inc.NASDAQ

Description

As I am sure you all are aware of the speculation surrounding TSLA going private at $420, I want to hear: are you still LONG/SHORT or has your opinion changed? Personally, I have too many questions about them going private. The main one being the price target of $420 are where this funding has been secured from. According to Elon's tweets, shareholders can either decide to sell their shares before going private or being the will be able to keep them if it ends up going through. Elon is no stranger to this as he does the same thing with Fidelity's investment in SpaceX. I do agree with the fact that Tesla short propaganda is real from short sellers, but I think the is an issue that Elon holds personally (which in hind sight can have upside and drawbacks simultaneously). Im sure the next few weeks will certainly be interesting to say the least.

Options straddles are working well for me. Doesn't matter if it goes up or down, if you straddle on the peaks strategically, you can make money either way. Volatility is really your friend right now.

@swift32, Agreed!

Elon Musk didn't break any rule,he's defending the stock and the company. Why do always complain ?if you bought after the earnings announcement which I did, u already made a lot of money.( long and short)

@KamalSemrade, I am personally a huge fan of musk, my long term TSLA holdings are well over 50% gains at this point. I plan on holding for as long as possible dependent upon more information about going private.

It could come back to all time high. We don't know if the short sellers cover or not.

Would Elon, with a history of having issues with short sellers, tee up a large short-selling gain opportunity understanding the market backlash to follow should he be unable to prove funding is secured? How uncalculated could he be? A very interesting move, no doubt.

I like to trade TSLA because its volatile. Three times now that I traded TSLA and Elon comes up with some shenanigans to manipulate the price and cost me dearly. This time I hope the SEC finds him guilty of fraud.
