TSLA has gone parabolic recently, and more parabolic after Musk indicated that price shares are too high. Technically it is reaching in extension 1.40% Fibbo from 185 swing high and Pitchfork channel upside resistance hitting 1420 and pulling below 1400. Time for a pullback don't ya think?
After all the nonsense we experienced, I still see a scenario where it's not pulling back for say, an other 6-8 months, but just would hover above $1000 with lower volatility and low volume until all the new investors get disappointed and then as slowly they start to get out and sell, new long term investors would step in around $700, driving it back to $1000 again. End result in 2 years would be a lot of disappointed young investors, a lot of pissed off shorts and a lot of disappointed long investors as their investment was ruined by all these above mentioned market participants and hype that made the stock detach from the real numbers that represent a company on the stock market normally. In the meantime Tesla (as a company) can still grow 50% / year but as the stock price unquestionably detached from the fundamentals, more and more people (including Tesla and Elon fans) realize, that even though this is a great car it's a not so great paper to invest in any more. Just to make a case that no one thinks of, as we often find ourselves in a situation that the least amount of people (or no one) predicted beforehand. Other option is that Elon is gonna be right (You never know, why not?) and the stock price at around $800 in the middle of 2020 was too high indeed, so it will be max.$1000-$1300 in 2021, $1300-$1500 in 2022 and so on, causing the same results what I just mentioned above. This later idea resonates with the multiple times mentioned phenomena, where investors price in the future and not the present. Meaning, it is already priced in now for a few good years ahead, and we can buy TSLA stocks for the 2022 price right now! Also a good idea. :D Sorry about the lough, as it's rather sad.
