Looking at the TTOO T2 Biosystems options chain, i would buy the $2.5 strike price Calls with 2023-5-19 expiration date for about $1.20 premium. If the options turn out to be profitable Before the earnings release, i would sell at least 50%.
Interesting. I have just had look and the company have cut their Q3 revenue outlook (30 days ago) to 3.7M. In Q2 their revenue was 5.9M and thus the earnings were $-18M (or $-5 / per share). For the Q3 analysts estimate earning of $-2.0 / per share but there is no way it is possible with 3.7M revenue (I am kinda expecting earnings of -25M), so I am wondering why would you expect a call to be suitable here? Or they have pipelined something meanwhile?
