John B. says 90% chance for a brake out Long

TherapeuticsMD, Inc.NASDAQ

Description

I'm looking at TXMD again. Still bullish.
Only TA, no fundamentals this time:

The Bollinger band is an interesting tool that tells us now -as price is at the lower band (oversold) and in a situation when the band is very contracted (squeezed)- that likely a brake out will follow.
Add a positive divergence to it on the MACD and on the the RSI along lately (in relation to the price) and you get the idea: we are going UP.

But don't get too excited too soon when price moves, as last time (see my link below) traders sold off at about the 100% profit mark. And as supply/demand determines price...we fell back. Now the opportunity is even bigger. I'm expecting a 10x on this one long term. Speaking of time frames, the chart we are looking at is a 10 year period. We are now at all time lows (and as just mentioned above, at an all time narrow squeezed scenario), so the odds we are going to the moon are quite good.

Some fellow retards on Reddit talked about this before, that it's going to $24. I'm not sure why that number, but I can't say it's impossible.
BTW, I like the stock !

Pro analysts consensus is above $5 (for 12 months), my own mid term PT is still $7 (for the next 2-3 years) and right now the stock is worth about $4 IMO.

With all due respect, your "analysis" has no technical basis. BB + RSI + MACD have no predictive power in this context. The RSI hasn't meaningfully broken above 50.00 in like 6 years (on the monthly chart, as shown). How could that possibly be interpreted as a buy signal?!? Hint: The answer is **not** the anti-statistical trope of "it's gotta go up sometime". Inspect rolling returns over the 10-year period for this disastrous asset, and compare those returns to virtually any other listed stock or index or ETF. Sell this junk and put it in the SPY. Sorry for the rant, but I feel so bad for people that get caught in these scams. These penny stocks are the MLMs of the stock market, and there's always a long line of people waiting to give their hard-earned money away...Good luck.

@oerboom, yaaay, someone has paid attention. Cool. It was a mistake, it's my bad! As I just mixed this one up with HEXO in regards of your comment on the RSI. It was there the positive divergence lately, and not here with TXMD (I was looking at both while writing fast), so thanks for pointing it out! Though no "scam" of any sort with this one and also I think as we know "past performance is not indicative of future results" I wouldn't say something is going to go up just because during the past year or so it was going up (or any direction). More likely (statistically) or in other words empirical data shows if price is in a long term channel of any sort (up&down) we can observe that from the lower band (especially if it's an all time low) it's more likely going to go up and the other way around similarly, from the upper edge of the channel is more likely going to correct back dowjn (with BB too, it will correct towards the center). At least according to John Bollinger. All this aside, in regards of TXMD,I agree with the consensus price target (above $5 for the next 12 months) and I would short something that is at an all time high and almost never the other way around (just saying). My past ideas -again- in chronological order at 2019-2020: BTC, TSLA, NYMT, CDEV all of which I got talked out by... you know who. I have to say this again, sorry to point it out. So since then I stick with my own research and believes but I'm open to new ideas if any of You have some unique/contrarian ones, I'd like to hear about it! (SPY isn't one of them.) Show me 3 (at least relatively) unknown stocks that are at all time lows and you think they are going to brake out to the upside. This is the task!

90% , wow! If I would have believed in this arbitrary 90% chance, I would have put my bank account on the line. LOL. This isn't YouTube, no need for click baiting titles! You might mislead some poor soul who has no idea what they are (doing) talking about.(cough, cough).
