Btw, the above idea (click on it!) is a perfectly technical trade that I was preparing way back in April. Entry level and date were a perfect hit.
There was no fundamental talk from BOC then, no mention of rate hikes, etc..
As you can see, fundamentals follow technicals, not the other way around. Regardless of reasons, or "excuses" as 99nines would call them, things still happen.
