@Invisibie, The modern-time ATH for the dollar was in 1971, when the golden standard was abolished. EURUSD in 1971 was at 0.53 (No Euro at the time, but taking the equivalent basket of currencies). We will eventually come back to this level, but it will happen 15-20 years from now, and there will be huge swings back and forth during this period.
