INSERT TEXT IN "GOOGLE TRANSLATE": https://translate.google.com/

1. Sell a level 4 signal
2. Stops just above the last high that will be formed
3. Targets, WS1 (gray line)

Good luck
Comment: We have now reached the expected target on the high side
If we go past here, we may cancel our sell trade
Comment: I hear you in my head
Yes this is a good place to enter if you are willing to risk the few pips to the stop
Comment: Have any of you entered at the brown dotted line?
Comment: Do you guys see how the TS is acting like a trendline on on the live chart?
Comment: If you are in this trade
Please do not try to optimize my moving your stops yet
I'll tell when it's ok to do that

Good luck
Comment: Let's do some practice with the signals

What level signal is currently showing on this chart?
Comment: Anyone know the signal level now?
Comment: We have now broken the trendline
TS turn down which is the level 4 signal
Comment: Can we know in advance when TS will turn down?
Comment: KS is the boss
It is now deciding whether to let the price pass or not
If it does, TS will turn in a bit
If it doesn't TS will not turn
Comment: By the way .. from the dotted line up to here is already about 60 pips
so congrats to those who bought there
Comment: Who thinks that KS will let price in?
Comment: long negotiation
I think price is going to spend the night at the door in the hope of catching Mr. KS in a better mood after he lies down a bit .. lol
Comment: Price just sneaked in
Now it will call TS to come and play with it
Comment: Once TS turns down, sell
you do not have to wait for a close
but just make sure it goes down about 3-5 pips
Comment: It turned very slightly
If it retraces before continuing down then buy cheaper
If not then wait for a bit more turn and enter
Comment: by retrace i mean at least of the last candle .. maybe even more
Trade closed manually: Ok guys

I'm not going to update this chart any more so you are on your own until Monday. If you want to get out, that's fine and we'll get back in later. Or staying is also fine
Excellent week. Lots of fun and lot of pips
Thanks you for the great company
Have a great weekend

trading works in wonders. I brought US/CAD early this morning and Im currently on 31.6 pips (about $156.02).....But have moved up my stop loss
Reply
Not very good..

You have lost even though you have won
You have traded against the trend. Your brain now thinks that this is good
Eventually you will lose .. a lot
I hope it does not happen but expect it to happen

Do you track Oil when trading CAD?
Or are you purely technical?

The KS and TS are pointing up so I am guessing we are not in the game yet. ??
Reply
Well, the KS up to now is doing what I call the KS stretch. I consider it still going down up to now, it's just stretching
As for TS, it is now a trendline. We are waiting to break it
Reply
viran108 Ichimoku_Trader
interesting, how important is the direction of KS in ichimoku.?
Reply
yes it is

very very important
Reply
viran108 Ichimoku_Trader
Now in this scenario its pointing up , does that means that the market is still bullish?

Yes

Do you analyse the market on 4H chart?
Reply
Why wouldn't I?
Reply
viran108 Ichimoku_Trader
Reason I am asking is that most of your trades are based on 1H or 30 min.
I don't look much at 4H chart. Mostly 1H.
Reply
Actually..

1. I have lots of trades on H4. Look back to find them
2. I only published one M30 chart since I have been on Tradingview

Reply
If you have a specific chart you would like me to analyze, just ask me and I'll do it for you on a blue chart

The signals are the secret to this system
Consider that a signal is like the market coming and saying to you .. Bordoc, come out and play
+1 Reply
Bordoc Ichimoku_Trader
Am fallowing you just a few days, and I like your system. Looking forward reading all of your education slides dais weekend to understand the system even more
Reply
very good
Once you read them, you'll be able to keep up with everyone and know what the logic behind the trades is

Good luck
Keep posted with your progress
+1 Reply
Hey Master, why did you enter at brown line, should we wait some sort signal?
Reply
Ichimoku_Trader MarcielSouza
We should
But the brown line was a very important line and the risk was very little. So for some of our brothers, they like this kind of entry
THe right thing is to wait for the signal

I have just discovered your posts, and it is fascinating, as good old Spock used to say! Congratulations and, especially, gratitude to you for sharing your findingS. I am an adept that if you share your wealthness, you will get even more :-)
And I have a question that you probably got a lot of times: is there a place where you have summarized all your system ?? Thank you again.

go to my page
press the educational tag
there you will find all my posts about The PanOptic Trading Method
Those are the ones I have published
There is a lot I have not yet published

Do you trade ichi?
Reply
carl.vanhaes Ichimoku_Trader
No, I do not, and the reason is that after studying those lines a lot of times I have never found the right and mechanical method. But I didn't know yours and will give it a serious try. I trade more classically MACD divergences and TSI (true strength index) signals.
Reply
Ichimoku_Trader carl.vanhaes
ok

good luck

carl.vanhaes carl.vanhaes
And I just realize that I could still use "my favorite method" by adding your signals - at least that makes sense to me! And thank you for the link, I am now going to your homepage.
Reply
Ichimoku_Trader carl.vanhaes
well actually

you can be a trend trader
or you can be something else
you can not be both

So be careful
Reply
carl.vanhaes Ichimoku_Trader
Wise advice thank you. Do you mean the Panoptic method is not to be used for reversal trades, but more for continuation trades?
Reply
Ichimoku_Trader carl.vanhaes
no

trend trading is about not seeing any resistance when you go up and not seeing any support when you go down. That is its philosophy
Other systems work on the opposite

So you will never be able to do both while getting good trades because you will always be torn between both

As for trend trading, it handles both continuations as well as reversals
Reply
carl.vanhaes Ichimoku_Trader
I got it. So, where would you place your Panoptic system? Trend trading family?
Reply
Ichimoku_Trader carl.vanhaes
The PanOptic method is a holistic approach. it gives you the best of everything
Early entries
Late exits
Profitability on the short moves
Staying in on the big moves
etc..

I designed it to solve all my personal trading problems. they turned out to be everybody's problems

Question:why we are looking to take position when we are in the cloud?
Reply
That is a very good question

Being in the cloud has more than one meaning depending on the market context
the current market context is price corrective
Thus, the meaning of the kumo in this context is resistance

So we are selling at resistance
That's it
Reply
vava Ichimoku_Trader
thank you!!! Only in the case of correction we can take position in the cloud?

Reply
Only in the case of Price correction

There is another type i call a time correction. The kumo in those cases is used in a totally different way and you can not take positions in it
Reply
vava Ichimoku_Trader
What is time correction?

Ichimoku_Trader fxfabianng22
I do not get out of positions fully
I sell part only
usually at PP
Reply
"once TS turns down, sell" do you mean sell the short or enter a short to your grey line?
Reply
I mean sell as in go short
Reply
I'm feeling like a scalded cat lately (and no without reason) so I'm afraid I will loose this one, at least until monday.
Reply
well, get out if u r uncomfortable
always trust your feelings
Reply
Metafora Ichimoku_Trader
I'm not in. I mean I will loose the chance. It doesn't look bad but the weekend is long and it already had gave me nasty surprises. Thanks for the advice.
Reply
anyway .. we still need a good signal
so no worries
Reply
Should we expect such a retracement at this level in general or is it because the previous candle was a big red?
Reply
Ichimoku_Trader nheadmaster
well, we are now starting wave 5 which is made up of 5 waves
wave 2 usually makes deep retraces (so maybe this is it)
Anyway, we still nee our signal. If we get it, you will notice that TS gives us the signal at a great location
so just follow TS. You'll be fine
Reply
CaliCrypto Ichimoku_Trader
The TS and KS don't move until candle close, correct?

Thanks again for sharing your research brother! Would look nice to enter short if the current hourly candle changes color and would then close just below TS but I hate to open a position before a weekend, especially a long one. So, I will just remain in cash. Enjoy the long weekend. I will for sure dive in your educational area ! You do a great job!
