Indonesia tried to print value for the currency as #MMT prescribed. Now it costs 30,000 IDR to buy an cup of espresso! Soon it will cost 40,000 as the dollar will likely rise from here.

I can't say I am surprised. It now costs an extra 700 IDR to buy $1. In other words, you need about 40,000 IDR to buy a double espresso in Indonesia. LOL!
Could you imagine being on vacation and you needed $40,000 to buy coffee? SMH!
Oddly enough Indonesia wants to join BRICS too. As if that would save their situation.
