sorry for the waiting. I use an EMA14 close. This together with a Heiken ashi smoothed and a MACD true.
Trading daily, 4H and 1H charts. For me very simple but usefull

Welcome to the Heikin Ashi party! I just started using these candle sticks, less noisy:) I still convert over to basic jap candles to see noise when needed. Thx for replying I will now follow you:)

So do you believe EMA14 will be useful for smaller time-frames and what do you mean by smoothed(H.A.)??

Hi TradZ, prepared for this new week?
I use the EMA14, starting fromout of the daily chart. I see the move of the trend and also if there can be a possible pullback. From that point I go to shorter timeframes until 1H.
the Heiken Ashi Smoothed is better for showing the momentum of the trend. This combined with the MACD true, I can definitly identify some direction and moves.
On the higher timeframes I start with very small positions that I will lever up after 150 - 200 pips and I leave them open until the new cross of the EMA14.
Also the EMA14 is the retest line for a pullback, So my SL is about 10 pips on the other side of the EMA14.
Look the indicator for the smoothed on internet or send me an email and I´ll send it to you. No problem.

For the shorter timeframes I use also the EMA 14, but with other indicators. If you send me an email, I can send you an image with explanation.
