i guess you must be a trader as you say because if its an investor trading big money for a long term it seems to be a start of an uptrend along with the sentiments if people knew whats going on in South Africa and the improvements that will come along with the dollar when the democrats are involved against the rand.

@lwandoandersonmnyabiso, you are correct am merely a speculator for short term moves. I just don't know with any degree of certainty our domestic issues factor into the movement of the pair. Investors lump our economy with emerging markets and short or long accordingly. The USD and what happens in USA does have a factor to what happens across the world.
