Buying on VIX spikes seems particularly risky. Since the last three spikes ended up as a bad place to go long. How would you go about this long trade?

@winter44, It already looks like this trade is becoming less likely. but I tend to stay in as long as the bubbles on my indicator are red. Plus i tend to do calendar diagonal call spreads, so, the risk isn't too bad.
