Been saying this for a minute, when a split reverse or not occurs, value is not changed, it's the negative sentiment of the split that changes prices, VXX recently did a RS and it's on track no worries. Positive bullishness will outweight any RS, assuming they don't rescind the announcement since we will probably be above 10 before then

does anyone find the timing of the announcement odd? it appeared that they were going to crash this thing below $4 then miraculously a spike

@fo_jns, I was thinking the same thing. How convenient. That said, they announced splits for a bunch of their products, so it might just be a coincidence.

@GreenMachine321, over 1 billion in assets! and they put out a date that had passed months ago, they retract it, then go radio silent ....even after its drops below 4. there is no way this was an accident. no way

Sure but the trap is the spread on the non-standard old options after the split.
I'm out for now and just traded out of the position.
