CBOE:VIX   Volatility S&P 500 Index
Yesterday I posted that the vix will go up in the next week or two. I bought May 15 VXX 50C at close for 9.50. I sold this at open for 11.50.
House just passed the bill so stocks should go up for Friday. We should see the vix go down a little until EOD. It might be a good opportinuty to jump in some calls on the VIX and or puts on your favorite stock. Over the weekend, we will see more increase in covid cases and more panic buying. Monday people will realize that 2 trillion dollars isn't going to really help. Next week and or the week after will be very volatile and red.

Saw a lot of calls at the same time all in a similar direction and size. Assuming this is the same entity.

Bought the May 20 VIX 90C at 12:46pm PST for 1.90

I could've taken $75 profit if I sold right at open. We are now in the buy zone. Tomorrow or Wednesday could be the big down day(s). Maybe we see the Stoch RSI go into slightly over sold and then we see our swing. If that is the case then I am thinking Wed we hit our 56-54 level and then we bounce up to the target. With all the bad news this weekend, it is hard to understand why we would be up. FED printer on full blast for sure.

Saw this earlier too. I still am feeling good about all my puts so far. Some of my Apr 17 I am looking to close as soon as we get a good swing. Then again I bet most people are in that boat. There are a huge number of folks ready to close out their puts for Apr and when a swing happens everyone sells right away and so we see things leveling off as people off load their risk.

We broke below the buy zone that I had indicated, however we are still above the fib line there and we should see a bounce off that line, if the upward trend is still intact.
