VRL - VILLAGE ROADSHOW - Making one of its $8 runs again?
Village isn't one I would normally look at as its not speculative enough for me and for my more conservative portfolios I think its financials are a little flaky - BUT - it has been making a VERY steady recovery and most of its bad news / safety / PR disasters are gradually moving behind it and less in the public's front of mind. I was surprised to learn they are operating theme parks in China which was what made me more interested. Fantastic chart for the recent period and if you have a look at it over the last 5 to 10 years it does have a history of these BIG sell offs and recoveries. Has me interested.

In addition, the Company has an equity interest in Village Roadshow Entertainment Group Limited, which is engaged in film production activities. Village Roadshow (VRL:ASX) is running again after a bit of a break. Up 10% from when I posted it, taking it to around a 117% gain over the last 12 months'ish.
Its done well,pretty significant -ve RS divergence starting to appear now due for a decent pullback from here surely

@nfury8, yeah - it has been doing a VERY consistent upper bolly walk. All the indicators I look at look like it should keep going but gut feel is that it needs a correction or at least a consolidation at some point. Dont forget its a long way down off the back of its Dreamworld safety problems. What got me interested was some of the things in the chairmans statement I had no idea they were doing - like mini parks and China especially. They seem to have a plan... and history says they have done it before. Id run pretty tight stops though if I find a suitable entry. Its one to set and forget and perhaps run a trailing sell conditional order on until stopped out.
