Not sure I cashed out profits the other day, yesterday was interesting up and down day, no play for me. Leaning VXX up until after full moon, then markets may bounce a bit with bulls forcing and wanting a strong January to set up good 2015, but... I think once again a false move. Until Jan 9th, if a day sets up for it, VXX is a play, but after that, not so sure. Alcoa reports earnings Jan 12th. I think they disappoint, and starts a down earnings season, which means VXX is a play. Maybe... alcoa puts before earnings, with a VXX chaser. But high Vol requires constant watching, or you can also lose money quickly. BEEE CAREFUL.

nope, If January sets up the next year, and if dollar keeps hitting higher, will lower commodities too low, it will not be good for companies servicing these industries (i.e. CAT), and these are many blue chip, and will eventually bring down the markets. So far consumer benefits effects supporting markets, but,, eventually, if oil keeps going lower, just has to. But Yellen watching also, and may effect dollar somehow, maybe indirectly.
