WDAY
- the data + context + process moat here is pretty hard to top
- i don't love the decelerating growth, but then again it's still squarely DD
- we're barely above rule of 40 here, so that's s/t to watch. realistically one of my pain points about AI's impact on software-anything is that margin initially contracts (people freak out) and then it expands esp for co's where they remain standing in a stronger position. i suspect that might be the case here
- already an ex-sbc 3+% fcf yield which is honestly better than cash at the 10% compound rate and what i suspect is going to happen above
- but in this market, you have to see what the market sees. poo poo everything in software.
- so it's not a must own here for me, but 17x PE does start to look pretty decent. get me closer to 10x EBITDA and that's about 15-20% FROM here and we'll talk.
- target set above $150 for a lil trading view bing and we revisit
- but i don't think you'll see gg here. but we're not in get-greedy territory either (and honestly watching how all these names perform relative to each other will be CRITICAL ALPHA... the ones that dip least are probably the ones that will see the best out-of-dip performance, whenever that is). take note from sidelines.
