I am trying to figure out how to tell if a descending triangle will be a reversal or a continuation. Some descending triangles end up having a breakout and going higher, can you explain why this one might be a breakdown to lower prices?
I would ignore the fact that the price seemingly broke out of the resistance 8/26 - 8/28, the graph can be manipulated in anyway on other people's charts so the resistance still hasn't been broken.
