@JimmyNeedles, quite a few other breakouts are stalling and doing a whole lot of nothing after breaking out. lots of pause around SPY all time highs, expected. anything could happen. so our job is to be discipline, find your edge, trade your edge and tone out all of the other news. in the long run, things plays out just fine when you have an edge that you act on over and over again.

@TaPlot, I can only agree. Besides that, I see a lot of breakouts fail as well. At least 50% based on the experiment I ran. I also think that edge that you're referring to is key in becoming a successful trader. Thank you for all the insights so far, it has been tremendously helpful.
