Gold is expected to perform a liquidity sweep, followed by a reversal into the fair value gap (FVG). From there, a short move is anticipated, targeting the previous low formed prior to the liquidity sweep.
Note
Update: Early sellers are being induced. We just saw a 1m BOS and price is currently retesting the FVG. I'm expecting one final sweep of the early sellers' stop losses into my higher HTF zone before the actual displacement down. Using their liquidity for our entry. 🎯Trade active
Update: I am officially entering the short position.Validation Rule: As long as the 15-minute candle closes below 4755, the bearish setup remains valid. This ensures we are not caught in a sustained breakout but rather a liquidity grab.
Entry: Current Market Price
Stop Loss: 4760 (Protection above the extreme)
TP: Targeting the Sell-side Liquidity at the recent Lows.
Trade closed manually
Update: That was a close call! Price came dangerously close to my SL, but the 4755 level held on the 15m close as planned. We are now officially in PROFIT.With high-impact news coming up in 25 minutes, I am taking a proactive approach to protect my capital:
Partial Profits: Closing 50% of the position now to lock in gains. 💰
Risk Management: Moving Stop Loss to Break-Even (BE) for the remaining 50%.
This is now a "risk-free" trade. I'll let the rest run toward the final target (the Lows) and let the news-volatility do the work. Don't gamble with news—manage your risk!
