I see what you tried to do, but you must looking for volume confirmation, that little rise up didn't had heavy volume also It didn't made a "day close" up above 1651.2 That would be a good confirmation and the next step would be looking for a pull back to get good price but it wasn't the case :( . Download the thinkorswim platform you could watch the gold volume in futures contracts, it is "/YG"
