Wallstreet's mission is to shake out all the stops. If you want to beat their game, either don't use hard stops, or use a stop-and-reversal strategy to confuse the algos. They are pros at pulling out all the stops. For Bitcoin, the magincal stop and revesal number is somewhere between 8% and 12%. Reverse the trade if it falls more than 8%. Then it is likely to fall 15% and you would have revered 90% of your losses and can get back in with a lower basis.

@josephtse, well I could see how that may work. But I actually had gains here. Not losses. The stop loss worked as it should. I am pro btw. Been trading Globex futures for over 15 years. I use the stops. I think they do what they should. Know your risk. I avoided a 500 point sell off and just re-entered at 10720. What lead you to believe there are losses here?
