The levels I'm watching for long entries are 2950, 1900, 900. Red rectangles are areas for short entries, blue rays define my scalping ranges. I've tried and failed to long the bottom here so my best guess is that 2950 is going to cause enough of a reaction for a while to make longing this worthwhile. First short target around 4200. Second short target 5500 (ish). Third short target 6400 but I think it's pretty safe to think we won't see that until the trend turns completely around. To add to my overall bearish sentiment, I don't believe any of my short targets will get hit at all, but time will tell. As a side comment I will be staying away from any and all alts, I will probably play LTC, XRP and ETH longs right around the time bitcoin reaches those low targets I've talked about earlier. So after holding this local bottom like a champ, bitcoin went for a second attempt at 4200 and it made it through. Gonna watch it closely, but for now it seems to want to go higher. There are a bunch of hops along the way, we could find resistance in a few areas, but the obvious next level is 5500. That said I'm still not fully convinced this will turn around so any longs I will take will be accompanied by tight stops. Same for any shorts.
