@JohnWarnes, I think the price of BTC in USD will hold steady or come down some after the new year and the movement out of BTC and into alts will cause XMR's rise in BTC value. This is just a W.A.G... but 2018 is the year of Monero with hardware wallet support, multisig, and a lot of other things in development.
