Suddenly,I would agree with OP.
I wanted to short XRPBTC few days before but I did see the LTC rally.And was impressed, how fast volume drove the price mark 30% above the previous level.
So I dropped all my sell positions.
Then the volume started to pick up (finally for God sake!)
If I would a MM I would push the price down 5% to collect the stop losses and then move the mark up. Not sure they will be able to do so as the market is thin and probably there are not many tokens to collect by this move.
Let's see the overnight pattern (EST), China and Japan drive the volume. Volume drives the price.

So you are saying the break out WILL happen today 6th of June. In that case there's other possibility.. nothing will happen today :) We can't know for sure.
