2019 BitMex XRP/BTC trades Long

XRP / BitcoinBittrex

Description

Here I'll try to post every XRP trade that I'll take in 2019.
I already missed a part of this trade but I've only recently learned this style of trading from @Cryptocred on Twitter from his new Trading Guide so make sure to download it and go through it, it's well worth it for the price (it's free lol). Here's my first try with this style...

My setup (hopefully it gets triggered):
Entry: 9400 SAT
Stop-loss: 9080 SAT
Target: 9800 SAT
RRR: 1.25

Note: Although at a stop-loss there is no major support but we'll see if it'll be successful anyway.

Trade closed: stop reached

Whoops, got stopped out...

New LONG setup after some time:
Entry: 8310 SAT
Stop-loss: 8199 SAT (could be higher but just in case)
Target: 8750 SAT
RRR: 3.96

Notes:
- looks like a big support below so I'll keep an eye on this range
- if only a wick stops me out then I'll probably get back in but if the daily candle closes below, I'll probably short it.

Trade closed manually

Now that's what I call a perfect trade!
Price dipped just enough for me to enter the trade and now it bounced past my target. I intentionally didn't set the target yet because I wanted to watch what was happening. My target was kind of in the middle of nowhere but luckily I was here at the computer so when I found the price hitting next resistance zone, I market sold it immediatelly. RRR improved from 3.96 to 4.94. Happy with this one!

New LONG setup:
Entry: 8361 SAT
Stop-loss: 8241 SAT
Target: 8854 SAT (target not set yet)
RRR: 4.11

Notes:
- I just did "the same" trade yesterday and it worked so I'll try my luck again :)

Trade closed: stop reached

Well that one didn't go as nice as I hope it would...

Okay, let's try this again...
Entry: 8361 SAT
Stop-loss: 8241 SAT
Target: 8854 SAT (target not set yet)
RRR: 4.11

Comment

My new LONG setup:
Entry: 6420 SAT
Stop-loss: 6170 SAT
Target: 7800 SAT
RRR: 5.52

Notes:
- Maybe my entry is too greedy for PA to reach this level again
- major bullish divergence on 1D
