XRPUSD: $1.39 Support Is the Key Test After the Rejection

352
XRP is trading near $1.396 after failing to hold the recent recovery above the $1.42 area. The broader XRP narrative remains constructive: ETF demand and lower exchange balances have supported the medium-term outlook, while Ripple’s September escrow release was largely offset by the re-locking of 700 million XRP.

However, the short-term market is more cautious. XRP is consolidating below the moving-average cluster after profit-taking near resistance, while broader crypto remains sensitive to U.S. yields and this week’s inflation data.

XRP is still slightly above the SMA 200 near $1.3927, making the current zone especially important. RSI is around 41, which shows weak momentum but not oversold conditions.

Possible price movement
If XRP holds $1.3887 and reclaims $1.4018–1.4057, buyers may target $1.4132 and then $1.4267.
A confirmed break below $1.3887 would weaken the structure and expose the $1.36–1.35 area.

Key idea: XRP has a supportive institutional narrative, but the chart needs to defend $1.39. Until price returns above $1.4057–1.4132, rebounds remain corrective rather than a confirmed bullish continuation.

⚠️ Not financial advice.
Note
Update: XRP tested the $1.3887 support zone and bounced back above it, holding near $1.39.

However, buyers have not yet reclaimed $1.4018–1.4057, so bullish continuation is not confirmed. A break above that zone would reopen $1.4132 and $1.4267.
Trade closed: target reached
Update: XRP held $1.3887, reclaimed $1.4018–1.4057, and reached the $1.4267 target. Price then extended toward the $1.44–1.45 area before pulling back.
