haters be like "you just dont look into its potential!!!!!!" where is this potential? you're just buying a worthless token which doesnt give any right. Tired of seeing the moonboys calling for $100 or whatever
theres honestly no real fundamental value on any of these coins yet if ever. you can argue btc, eth might have some value based on future potential and just the fact that they are first. My bet would be to go long and say ok is this space going to be around in the next few years? well they are building products to allow more money to enter the space i.e. futures, derivatives, custody etc etc.
Other than that it's just speculative traders pump and dumping in a thinly traded market. So it's fun in that sense, thinly traded stocks no one really cares about fundamentals because there isn't any. Purely just traded on technicals imo. easy to do since almost not regulated anything goes.
the market cycles here have been pretty short though relatively speaking compared to a boom and bust cycle in the stock market. I like to just put a little money i can afford to lose and take positions during end of corrective cycle to go long, the return on investment is pretty good. No where else can I get such an asymmetrical return. worth putting a little bit in during a long corrective cycle i think.
to answer your question, I don't believe in any fundamental value in any of these coins until some corporation starts putting tons of money in to back some protocol and build things on it that actually produces money or new industry. I'm excited to see what comes outta this to be honest. You've heard all the interviews about changes to banking, record keeping etc. I don't think we can guess or imagine what is to come but its exciting.

that's right nobody cares about fundementals, but it's what matters for a market to thrive and when it comes to crypto if there's no any business model behind these funny tokens their price will simply approach $0.
that said even stocks are definitely subject to speculation and sooner or later there is going to be a heavy correction as they're trading far above their value.
we'll see how things will play out.
