Ripple has the $ and resources to hire the best lawyers on the planet... that will happen. Combine this all with the fairly WEAK accusation that the SEC has brought forward... we will see short-term volatility YES - but I believe that XRP will prevail in the long term... especially if they win their case. XRP is a utility token, if you acknowledge XRP as a utility token for network usage, it’s nearly impossible to classify it as a security. The SEC's entire case is paper thin. I believe that the SEC is using XRP to place fear into the crypto community.

Other major branches of the U.S. government, including the Justice Department and the Treasury Department’s FinCen, have already determined that XRP is a currency. Transactions in XRP thus fall outside the scope of the federal securities laws. This is not the first time the SEC has tried to go beyond its statutory authority. FINCEN already delcared it a currency. Can't have it both ways. Once SEC is done we absolutely HAVE regulations in place for currency transactions/exchange, instant win and this can proceed with its replacement of SWIFT. SWIFT handles 5.5 trillion in transactions daily and is slow. Imagine what this can handle. If it did 5.5 trillion daily, this would be a $55 token.
