The way you are writing it: .08c[ents] signifies that you are representing a fraction of a cent, so people think your call is $0.0008 not $0.08. One dollar is represented by $1.00 and one cent is represented by $0.01. So if you are trying to represent $0.08, it should read 8 cents. No leading decimal and zero is needed. However, if you are trying to represent $0.0008, then what you are writing, .08 cents, is correct. Hope that helps.

@NoobOfTheMonth, Many TV members want to get a leg up and rub shoulders any way possible, even if it's as trivial as making an unnecessarily long laboured post about grammar. The publisher writes with brevity and perhaps they assume we have the capacity to read. If someone highly skilled is considerate enough to give a tip, it's not courteous to be repetitive or ask for spoon feeding of things we could easily figure out ourselves. Also, the comment wasn't directed at you. You chose to make that projection.
