@GerbenDeZeeuw, As I have written earlier in this forum. Retail adoption and (financial) institutions who want XRP liquid for their atomic settlement corridors are in this game. The power some of these (financial) institutions have is within trillions of dollars to put everyone's mind in the right perspective.
My personal research shows that also the defence industry is in the XRP game. This is serious business.
Serious US market and liquidity issues will give XRP solid support from now on. XRP and BTC are the perfect hedge against a dubious quantative easing dollar. With interest rates down (in Europe negative) the citizens of this world want a fixed supply trusted value digital currency which is permissionless and settles (100 % of all transactions) in 3 seconds in a decentralised network.
The US dollar is causing seriuos disruption in emerging markets and is causing havoc in many countries balance of payments. This must change asap to become a level playing field. XRP has the quality, functionality and international support for this role.
