Happy profits to those that was able to sell on top of this short squeeze, sadly my sell listing was on 1.09, missed out again lol.
Setting my next buy order at 0.75, the dip might stop at the 1.00 - 0.90 area again though, but I won't play on this support line anymore, risks are too high. It will probably take another day or two, if nothing significant happens in that time, I'll be off, back to work now.

Here is why I always keep betting so pessimistically:
Go to the BTC Dominance chart, currently at 51,35%, oh boy, it's on its way down again! (now check the all time chart, and see if you see a similar pattern, from 2017). Now check the BTC Rainbow Chart, compare this season with the previous ones. (The territory we are in right now, is where majority of dips and breakouts happen FYI.) Now check the BTC Hashrate, currently at 169.14 EH/s, rising steadily back up to the top. ("This stuff doesn't matter", aye, I suspect that as well, but if it were to drop again, and people starts screaming about it, like the last time, do you think people get FUD? Do you not think this is related?" Finally, check the Crypto Fear and Greed index. Fear, people are scared, and they are ready for the next pump.
If you still think it's looking good, we in the clear, the wedge you see on the BTC/USDT chart is looking like a breakout wedge, then you are in the same boat as me. It's really looking good, it is. People are hopeful, that's why you see so many buy in on thew XRP short squeezes.
That's why I bet against. People are better at researching and understanding the crypto space right now. But they are just as shit at calming down their emotions. As long as emotions runs the market, FOMO, YOLO-COIN TO THE MEERS!!! As you still see all over the crypto community to this day, I'm betting against.
More information doesn't mean knowing how to use it. My bet is that majority of holders and retail traders still needs to be humbled, and that is what big whales and institutional investors is working on doing right now.

@thedarklord369, Aye! If you look at the BTC chart, you can see the wedge there, I suspect that within the next 24 hours, we will see the next move of the crypto space.
I'm holding a bag of 1700 XRP myself, just for the $589 meme that goes around the XRP community! Won't sell that one until XRP dips below .40, yikes.
If the wedge we see on the BTC chart turns out to be a breakout wedge, I'll accept losing out on gains.
But if it turns out to be a loss wedge, then expect XRP to follow along, dipping down to the .90 line, possibly even further, if big bags decides to dump, cutting losses.
The scariest part is if BTC decides to follow the games you've been seeing on the XRP charts lately, short squeezes / bull traps.
I'll be keeping an eye on the chart for the coming hours, but I won't be buying or selling.

@clemllk, Uhh, yeah, I just witnessed the BTC dip, I think I'll keep shorting for now lol.
The stench of FUD is all over the place, unless a miracle happens, which it probably won't, I'm not even placing buy listings to collect XRP for me while I sleep.
I can imagine listing a buy on .75 only to wake up to a .50 market.
Or I could say something along the lines of:
"I think I see a bullish divergent, don't be fooled! The downward momentum is slowing down, this is the time to buy, buy, buy, my horoscope analysis says stonks only go up, bullruns never ends".
I'll continue to hold onto some small bags with alts, in case such a miracle happens, but I also plan on holding onto them till next season, in 2024...
