For many people, XRP hold the hope of being the next Bitcoin.
This is an overly optimistic view that I don't see happening in the foreseeable future. Since its inception, it really has stagnated in its over-all growth. For this reason, I don't believe it is a coin that has an appreciable value, as the attached analysis shows. XRP does have trading value though and should be considered for short term profits.

Looking at shorter time frames, it becomes more apparent that XRP is not a suitable holding coin, but it is a good trading coin, stuck in a long term range.
I never look at it as the next bitcoin. I look at it as the company/coin combination that might succeed in becoming the bridge currency for international transfers. I used SWIFT a lot. Amazingly primitive. There is a need. This company/coin are created to fill that need. Succeed or not? Who knows.

Love a bit more of the fundamental point of view on this idea. I looked at it purely from a technical point of view and see something more bullish :
But I think yours will yield more value in the long run, mine might have more value on the short run
