Great video. May I ask why you use the 12 and 26 EMA? Just curious

@jeremyluce, I use the 12 and 26 EMA vs simple moving averages because EMAs move faster than SMAs and react quicker to the higher level of price volatility in the cryptoverse. As far as the 12 period and 26 period they are used in the MACD (moving average convergence and divergence) momentum indicator. I was first exposed to trading with these EMAs years ago on Coinbase as they are the default setting on their charts. I also use the 55, 128, and 200 EMAs. I will do a video diving into why these EMAs are so powerful in the future.

@enTHUZed, good to know. I grew accustom to the 8, and 18 myself after backtesting for shorter term trends. I also have the 50 and 200 there as well. I’ll have to look into the 12,26, 55, and 128. Thanks for the response bro
