It looks as if the dollar, vix, and precious metals/commodities will continue to trend up, stocks will continue to pull back. Bitcoin is tenuous. But it is possible that altcoins have reached their low, though that low may be retested soon. We'll discuss these subjects in this weekly update.

Some pre market commentary, SPX - expecting a bear trap after open, then higher. Wheat may be affected by the hurricane in Florida, Bonds hit an important fib extension, Gold looks promising if it can get over 1675 resistance, DXY also looks like it may pullback - BTC could still move to lower 18000 area before a move up (would align with one more low in equities)...
Warning in all asset classes remains. Better to be out of the market wishing you were in rather than being in the market wishing you were out.

Gold rallied together with the markets yesterday, but we cannot be sure yet if this reversal holds. In this video I show a trade idea that has profit potential in two scenarios: A bearish Elliott wave 5 with a lower low, and a continuing rally higher.
