Boeing Receives 109 Orders, Delivers 34 Jets in November
Boeing (BA) said Tuesday that orders for its jetliners increased fourfold in November to 109 planes from 27 a year earlier.
Orders for last month were all 737 Max planes, comprising of 72 jets from Akasa Air, 30 from 777 Partners and seven from unidentified customers.
Indian carrier Akasa Air's orders were valued at nearly $9 billion, while 777 Partners' orders were priced at $3.7 billion.
The aerospace company also delivered 34 jets, including 28 737 Max, versus seven deliveries last year.
As of November, Boeing had 5,095 unfilled orders.
Year to date, the company delivered a total of 302 aircraft, compared with 157 last year.
