Kyrgyzstan's central bank on Tuesday maintained its benchmark interest rate at 9.25%, saying the decision was aimed at preserving price stability and fostering macroeconomic resilience.
"At present, external uncertainty remains elevated due to ongoing geopolitical tensions and inflationary pressures in the Kyrgyz Republic's key trading partner countries," the central bank said in a statement.
"Given these conditions, and based on an assessment of inflationary factors and a forward-looking monetary policy stance, the National Bank has decided to maintain the policy rate at 9.25 percent."
