Russian central bank expected to cut its key interest rate to median of 16% by end-2025

The Russian central bank is forecast to cut its key benchmark rate by one percentage point by the end of 2025 to 16%, the median estimate of 15 economists in a Reuters poll showed on Wednesday.

Economists also cut the gross domestic product growth forecast to 1% in 2025 from 1.2% in the previous poll. Inflation was expected to be at 6.5% by the end of 2025, according to the median estimate.
