MMM Liquidity Momentum Dashboard v6

What it does

A liquidity dashboard that combines seven liquidity inputs into a month-end held composite z-score, a live impulse z-score, and a live 0–100 nowcast. Inputs are: Global M2 minus Global GDP YoY, US M2 / DXY, inverted NFCI, CB Net Liquidity YoY, inverted USDCNH, inverted MOVE, and WRESBAL. It also shows diffusion, acceleration, and top impulse drivers.

How it works

The composite uses an adaptive z-score blend with a 104-week short lookback, 260-week long lookback, and 0.60 weight on the short z. The held liquidity regime bands are: TIGHT at or below -0.50, LOOSE at or above 0.50, and VERY LOOSE at or above 1.00. The live impulse is built by standardizing each component’s impulse separately, clipping to ±3, then weighting and summing. The nowcast is a 50/50 blend of the month-end composite score and the live impulse score.

Default setup

Weekly-base lookbacks are 13 weeks for 3m change, 52 weeks for 12m change, and 13 weeks for impulse delta. Default composite weights are: Global M2-GDP 0.20, CB Net Liquidity 0.20, WRESBAL 0.15, NFCI (inv) 0.15, US M2/DXY 0.10, -USDCNH 0.10, and -MOVE 0.10.

How to use it

Treat the held composite as the slower structural liquidity backdrop, the live impulse z as the faster directional swing, and the nowcast as the blended read. The “Top Impulse Drivers” row is useful for seeing what is actually moving the liquidity signal right now rather than just whether the headline score is up or down.

Misc.

The dashboard is built on weekly inputs and is intended to be read on a weekly base. The hidden outputs for companion indicators are LIQ_ME_COMPOSITE_Z_SOURCE, LIQ_IMPULSE_Z_SOURCE, and LIQ_NOWCAST_SOURCE.
