Equity Drawdown - Marketcalls

Equity Drawdown is a measure from the peak-to-trough decline during a specific recorded period of a stock/index/commodity/currency. A drawdown is usually quoted as the percentage between the peak and the subsequent trough. Red Area Charts represents the Drawdown of that particular trading instrument/index. Recent value always informs the current equity drawdown the stock/index is experiencing.

Max Drawdown is the Maximum incurred drawdown among the entire data series. Recent value which is plotted in blue lines reflect the maxmium drawdown in the entire data set.

hi Rajan - how do you show maxDD for a specified date range. eg. if i look at the ticker SCIF it shows max drawdown as 64% no matter which date range i pick from the bottom panel on the chart. It shows the maxDD for the entire SCIF price history not just the date range i select
Love it. I would love to see you do more things like this. Maybe a Sharpe Ratio, net profit or something else that's a function in the strategies but not with the studies.
