GMS Ultimate Indicator

496
**GMS Ultimate Indicator v1.15.0** is a customizable multi timeframe market structure, liquidity, price action, setup, and target assistant designed to help traders repeat a structured analysis process without relying on one signal.

The indicator is built to organize the same information a trader would normally review manually, including broader direction, current market structure, pullbacks, swing turns, liquidity, reaction areas, setup confirmation, structural invalidation, and potential price objectives.

The updated version improves the indicator’s ability to recognize the same types of fifteen minute setups that may otherwise require repeated manual chart observation.

These setup types include:

Higher low buys within bullish structure

Lower high sells within bearish structure

Buys from meaningful swing lows

Sells from meaningful swing highs

Bullish and bearish fifteen minute expansions that continue through a series of structural swings

The indicator is intended to assist with identifying, managing, and reviewing these opportunities. It does not predict which setup will win.

## Multi Timeframe Market Structure

Daily and four hour structure can be used to establish broader market side permission.

The dashboard displays the current condition of the:

Four hour chart

One hour chart

Fifteen minute chart

Five minute chart

Each dashboard row shows:

Trend direction

Structural state

Price relationship to the selected EMAs

Market structure is classified as:

**HH / HL**

Higher highs and higher lows. This represents established bullish structure.

**LH / LL**

Lower highs and lower lows. This represents established bearish structure.

**Pullback**

Price is temporarily moving against the established trend while the protected structure remains valid.

**Transition**

The prior structure has been damaged, but the opposite trend is not fully established. Transition is a caution condition rather than automatic permission to trade in either direction.

**Consolidation or Range**

Price is overlapping and a clear structural direction has not been established.

## Structure Features

The indicator includes:

Internal swing high and swing low detection

External swing high and swing low detection

Internal and external break of structure detection

Change of character detection

Higher high and higher low classification

Lower high and lower low classification

Pullback recognition

Transition recognition

Protected one hour higher low and lower high zones

The internal structure system helps identify earlier changes inside the fifteen minute chart.

The external structure system tracks the larger and more meaningful swing structure.

Both systems can calculate in the background even when their visual labels are hidden.

## Fifteen Minute Structure Expansion Setups

Version v1.15.0 adds an improved structure expansion route inside the GMS Setup Engine.

This route is designed to recognize the same structural entry types traders often identify manually.

### Bullish continuation setup

The indicator can recognize when:

The market is producing bullish structure

Price pulls back

The pullback holds above meaningful bullish structure

A higher low develops

Price turns upward and begins resuming the bullish move

### Bearish continuation setup

The indicator can recognize when:

The market is producing bearish structure

Price rallies against the trend

The rally remains below meaningful bearish structure

A lower high develops

Price turns downward and begins resuming the bearish move

### Meaningful swing low buy

The indicator can recognize when:

Price has been moving bearishly

Price reaches a meaningful swing low

The bearish move stops extending cleanly

Bullish structure begins forming

Price starts expanding upward from the swing

### Meaningful swing high sell

The indicator can recognize when:

Price has been moving bullishly

Price reaches a meaningful swing high

The bullish move stops extending cleanly

Bearish structure begins forming

Price starts expanding downward from the swing

The expansion route is designed to detect the structural beginning of a move rather than waiting until several large one hour candles have already completed.

It also includes controls intended to prevent repeated setup labels during the same expansion. A new same direction setup requires a new meaningful pullback or swing opportunity.

## Original GMS Setup Engine

The original strict GMS Setup Engine remains available.

It can track a configurable sequence involving:

Liquidity sweep

Structure confirmation

Retest of broken structure

Rejection candle confirmation

Higher timeframe agreement

Market side permission

Optional EMA alignment

The original route is designed for traders who want a more selective confirmation sequence.

The updated structure expansion route works alongside the original route. It does not remove the original signals.

This allows the indicator to preserve the reliable strict setups while also identifying valid structural opportunities that may not contain every step of the strict sequence.

## One Hour Trend and Fifteen Minute Entry Engine

A separate optional One Hour Trend and Fifteen Minute Entry Engine is included for continuation style setups.

This engine identifies:

An established one hour trend

A fifteen minute pullback

A selected pullback location

Structure confirmation

A retest when required

A rejection trigger when required

Available pullback locations include:

The selected fifteen minute EMA

The protected one hour higher low or lower high zone

A qualified liquidity sweep

The four hour filter can be configured as:

**Must Agree**

The four hour direction must match the one hour direction.

**Cannot Oppose**

A neutral, ranging, transitional, or agreeing four hour condition is allowed, but an established opposing four hour trend blocks the setup.

**Ignore Four Hour**

The one hour and fifteen minute setup can qualify without the four hour direction blocking it.

Ignoring the four hour does not remove the one hour trend, fifteen minute pullback, location, structure, retest, or trigger requirements.

## Protected One Hour Structure Zone

The protected one hour zone displays the structure supporting the current one hour trend.

In bullish structure, the zone represents the protected higher low.

In bearish structure, the zone represents the protected lower high.

The zone can be used as:

A pullback location

A continuation area

A structural invalidation reference

A location that requires fifteen minute confirmation before entry

A touch of the zone is not an automatic trade signal.

## Four Hour Reaction Zones

The indicator can group repeated four hour reactions into support or resistance zones.

A developing reaction zone has reached the selected minimum number of reactions needed to display.

A confirmed reaction zone has reached the full required reaction count.

These zones can help identify:

Repeated support

Repeated resistance

Higher timeframe pullback locations

Potential swing high or swing low areas

Areas where lower timeframe confirmation may become important

The zone provides context and location. It does not automatically confirm an entry.

## Liquidity Features

The indicator includes:

Previous day high and previous day low

Previous week high and previous week low

Completed Asia session high and low

Completed London session high and low

Completed New York session high and low

Equal high liquidity pools

Equal low liquidity pools

Buy side liquidity detection

Sell side liquidity detection

Consolidated liquidity sweep detection

Configurable sweep strictness

Sweep cooldown controls

One sweep per reference level controls

Liquidity pools and session levels can calculate without displaying every visual element on the chart.

## Liquidity Sweep Strictness

Sweep detection can be configured as:

**Raw**

Produces the highest number of sweep events and uses the least restrictive requirements.

**Significant**

Requires more meaningful penetration and reclaim behavior.

**Strict**

Uses the strongest wick, reclaim, and rejection requirements.

Stricter settings generally reduce noise, but may identify fewer events.

Looser settings generally increase event frequency, but may include weaker reactions.

## Rejection Candle Confirmation

The rejection candle system can identify bullish and bearish rejection patterns.

Available controls include:

Minimum dominant wick size

Maximum opposite wick size

Minimum close location

Required bullish or bearish body

Pattern mode

Rejection candles can be used as part of the strict GMS sequence.

They should be treated as confirmation, not as a complete setup by themselves.

## EMA Analysis

The indicator supports up to three customizable EMAs.

Each EMA includes controls for:

Length

Source

Color

Width

Visibility

The dashboard can display whether price is above, below, or near the enabled EMAs.

EMA information is supporting context. Market structure remains the primary directional framework.

The first EMA can also be used as a pullback location inside the One Hour Trend and Fifteen Minute Entry Engine.

## Improved Target Assistant

Version v1.15.0 includes an improved Nearest Liquidity Target Assistant.

The target system separates developing continuation objectives from confirmed setup objectives.

### Continuation Target

A Continuation Target can appear while a qualified directional opportunity is still developing.

It represents a possible objective if price resumes in the intended direction.

### Setup Target

A Setup Target appears after a GMS setup fully confirms.

It represents the nearest tracked liquidity objective ahead of the confirmed setup.

Setup Targets and Continuation Targets use separate internal states.

A later continuation event cannot delete or replace an active confirmed Setup Target.

The Target Assistant can evaluate:

Fifteen minute swing highs and swing lows

One hour swing highs and swing lows

External swing highs and swing lows

Previous day highs and lows

Previous week highs and lows

Completed Asia session highs and lows

Completed London session highs and lows

Completed New York session highs and lows

Liquidity pool centers

The target system can also:

Keep a same direction continuation objective fixed

Remove a continuation objective when its supporting thesis fails

Preserve a valid setup objective through normal lower timeframe pullbacks

Display diagnostic information when a setup confirms but no valid target remains ahead of price

A target line is an objective, not an entry signal.

## Dashboard

The dashboard includes:

Desktop layout

Mobile readable layout

Adjustable position

Adjustable size

Adjustable text size

Adjustable background and border settings

Current chart timeframe marking

Selectable refresh behavior

The dashboard is designed to summarize context. It should not be used as an entry signal by itself.

## Alerts

The indicator includes alerts for:

Internal bullish and bearish structure breaks

External bullish and bearish structure breaks

Bullish and bearish change of character

Buy side and sell side liquidity sweeps

Liquidity pool breaks

Structure retests

Original GMS setup confirmation

One Hour and Fifteen Minute setup confirmation

Combined setup confirmation across all engines

Protected one hour zone entry

Four hour reaction zone entry

Market side changes

Setup Target completion

Continuation Target completion

TradingView stores the indicator code and settings that existed when an alert was created.

Alerts should be deleted and recreated after changing the indicator version or important settings.

## Customization

The following can be adjusted through the settings:

Structure strength

Internal and external structure visibility

CHOCH basis

Market side permission

EMA configuration

Liquidity pool sensitivity

Session times

Sweep strictness

Reaction zone sensitivity

Protected zone width

Setup timing windows

Retest tolerance

Setup invalidation

Higher timeframe filters

Fifteen minute expansion sensitivity

Same direction setup rearming

Target activation mode

Target distance requirements

Dashboard layout

Alert behavior

Settings should be tested through replay and forward testing before live use.

Changing several groups at the same time can make it difficult to determine which adjustment improved or reduced setup quality.

## Intended Use

The GMS Ultimate Indicator is designed to help traders:

Identify market direction

Recognize meaningful swing structure

Detect higher low and lower high continuation opportunities

Recognize meaningful swing high and swing low turns

Monitor setup progression

Reduce repetitive chart scanning

Maintain consistency

Define structural invalidation

Identify logical liquidity objectives

Hold valid winners toward a structured target

Exit failed setups when the supporting structure is invalidated

The indicator is a framework for structured analysis.

It does not predict market outcomes or guarantee profitable trades.

For analysis and educational purposes only.

Use responsible risk management, backtesting, forward testing, and position sizing before applying any setup in live markets.
Release Notes
The **GMS Ultimate Indicator** is a multi timeframe market structure, liquidity, trend alignment, setup, and target analysis tool designed to help traders identify directional opportunities without relying on one isolated signal.

The indicator organizes the market through a clear top down process:

**4H direction and reaction area → 1H trend and protected structure → 15M location and EMA alignment → confirmed 5M break of structure**

Its purpose is to help traders remain aligned with the larger trend, recognize meaningful pullbacks and swings, and avoid entering from random locations or against higher timeframe structure.

## Core Trading Logic

### Bullish conditions

The Target Assistant looks for bullish opportunities when:

* The 4H structure supports a bullish direction.
* The 1H is trending bullish.
* The confirmed 1H price is above the 20 EMA and 200 EMA.
* The 15M structure is bullish or experiencing a bullish pullback.
* The confirmed 15M price is above the 20 EMA and 200 EMA.
* Price reaches a protected 1H higher low area or a meaningful 15M swing low.
* A confirmed bullish 5M break of structure forms.
* The 5M confirmation closes above the 20 EMA.

### Bearish conditions

The inverse applies for bearish opportunities:

* The 4H structure supports a bearish direction.
* The 1H is trending bearish.
* The confirmed 1H price is below the 20 EMA and 200 EMA.
* The 15M structure is bearish or experiencing a bearish pullback.
* The confirmed 15M price is below the 20 EMA and 200 EMA.
* Price reaches a protected 1H lower high area or a meaningful 15M swing high.
* A confirmed bearish 5M break of structure forms.
* The 5M confirmation closes below the 20 EMA.

This structure is intended to help traders participate in established market trends while using the 5M timeframe for more precise confirmation.

## Market Structure Features

The indicator identifies and displays:

* Internal swing highs and lows
* External swing highs and lows
* Internal and external breaks of structure
* Change of character
* Higher high and higher low structure
* Lower high and lower low structure
* Pullback conditions
* Transitional conditions
* Consolidating or ranging conditions
* Protected 1H higher lows and lower highs

The market structure dashboard displays the current condition of the:

* 4H
* 1H
* 15M
* 5M

Each timeframe includes trend, structure state, and price relationship to the selected EMAs.

## Liquidity Analysis

The indicator tracks liquidity from several sources, including:

* Buy side liquidity
* Sell side liquidity
* Equal high and equal low liquidity pools
* Liquidity sweeps
* Confirmed liquidity breaks
* Previous day high and low
* Previous week high and low
* Completed Asia session high and low
* Completed London session high and low
* Completed New York session high and low

Strict sweep filtering can require price to penetrate a level, reclaim it on a confirmed candle, and produce sufficient wick rejection.

## 4H Reaction Zone

The indicator calculates significant 4H support or resistance reaction zones using:

* Confirmed pivot reactions
* ATR based clustering
* Minimum reaction distance
* Multiple separated touches
* Close based invalidation

These zones provide higher timeframe context and may help identify areas where price is more likely to react, continue, or invalidate the current directional thesis.

## GMS Setup Engine

The original GMS Setup Engine remains available for traders who use a structured sequence involving:

**Liquidity sweep → structure confirmation → retest → rejection trigger**

The indicator also includes a controlled 15M structure expansion route capable of identifying:

* Higher low continuation buys
* Lower high continuation sells
* Meaningful 15M swing low buys
* Meaningful 15M swing high sells

Each setup route is configurable through the indicator settings.

## Setup Target Assistant

The Target Assistant uses the confirmed 4H, 1H, 15M, and 5M trading sequence to project directional objectives.

Unlike a basic nearest level target system, potential targets are ranked using factors such as:

* ATR adjusted reachability
* Higher timeframe significance
* Level confluence
* Liquidity relevance
* Distance from the confirmation point
* Whether the level remains ahead of price

Potential objectives may include:

* 15M swing highs and lows
* 1H swing highs and lows
* External structure levels
* Previous day levels
* Previous week levels
* Session highs and lows
* Liquidity pool centers
* Relevant 4H reaction zone boundaries

The ranking system is a rule based confluence calculation. It should not be interpreted as a guaranteed statistical probability.

## Setup and Continuation Targets

The first qualified objective becomes the **Setup Target**.

A second qualified objective beyond the Setup Target may become the **Continuation Target**.

When both targets can be calculated at the time of confirmation, they may appear together. When only the Setup Target is available, the Continuation Target can be calculated after the Setup Target is reached and another valid objective becomes available.

Targets are removed and the sequence resets when the underlying higher timeframe trade thesis is invalidated.

## Recommended Use

For the revised Target Assistant, use the indicator on the **5 minute chart** because the final confirmation is generated from a confirmed 5M break of structure.

The 4H, 1H, and 15M calculations are requested automatically by the indicator.

Suggested process:

1. Identify the permitted 4H direction.
2. Confirm the 1H trend and protected structure.
3. Wait for a valid 15M swing or pullback location.
4. Confirm that the 1H and 15M are positioned correctly relative to the 20 and 200 EMAs.
5. Wait for the confirmed 5M break of structure.
6. Evaluate the projected Setup Target and Continuation Target.
7. Manage risk independently.

## Alerts

Available alerts include:

* Internal and external BOS
* Bullish and bearish CHOCH
* Liquidity sweeps
* Liquidity pool breaks
* GMS long and short setups
* 15M higher low and lower high setups
* Meaningful 15M swing setups
* Setup Target creation
* Continuation Target creation
* Setup Target reached
* Continuation Target reached
* Market-side changes
* Entry into the protected 1H structure zone
* Entry into the active 4H reaction zone

## Important Information

This indicator is an analytical tool and is not an automated trading system.

Signals and targets do not guarantee that price will continue in the projected direction or reach a displayed objective. Market conditions can change rapidly, especially during major economic releases, low liquidity periods, and abnormal volatility.

Use appropriate position sizing, stop loss placement, and risk management. Confirmed signals should be evaluated within the trader’s complete trading plan.
