This is a trend indicator at its core so combine with rsi or a moving average of your choice to see which direction the stock is trending in.

Only enter a position (long or short) when signal to noise ratio is above the signal line

hello， tks very much for your script.when i use your script to calculate the value of ratio, the value is error. so i want to know how to calculate the value of ratio. the example is in the below
length = 4, close=6.3658, before close are 6.3265 6.3347 6.2869 6.3018 6.2658 ,so can you show me the calculate process? tks a million.

This is an exact copy of Kaufman's efficiency ratio

@mcbw_, yes this uses the efficiency ratio as part of the indicator
