EMCS DIY Custom Strategy Builder [ZP + eb8] - v1

DIY Custom Strategy Builder [ZP] + eb8– v1 is a modular, “build-it-your-way” framework for creating and testing rule-based strategies directly on the chart. Instead of hard-coding one fixed system, it lets you pick a leading signal engine and then stack multiple confirmation filters and overlays around it, so you can prototype and refine your own trading logic without touching code.
At its core, the strategy is driven by a user-selectable Leading Indicator (default: Range Filter, but you can switch to RQK, SuperTrend, Half Trend, Ichimoku, SuperIchi, TSI, TDFI, Donchian Trend Ribbon, Stochastic, RSI, ROC, VWAP, MACD, SSL, WAE, AO, Vortex, QQE, Hull Suite, etc.). The leading indicator prints the initial long/short bias, and you then decide how many extra filters must agree within a configurable signal expiry window (e.g., all confirmations must line up within the next 3 candles) for the setup to be valid. There’s also an option to enforce alternating signals so the system doesn’t spam consecutive entries in the same direction.
On top of the main signal, you can turn on an extensive confirmation layer made of many classic and advanced tools, including for example:
Trend & structure:
EMA filter (single EMA), 2-EMA and 3-EMA cross filters
Range Filter (two modes), Rational Quadratic Kernel (RQK) trend, SuperTrend, Half Trend
Donchian Trend Ribbon, Ichimoku Cloud, SuperIchi, McGinley Dynamic, SSL Channel, Hull Suite
Trendline Breakout, Range Detector, Chandelier Exit, Fractals, Pivot-based structure
Oscillators & momentum:
TSI (signal or zero-line cross), ROC, DPO
Stochastic (different crossover/zone modes)
RSI (MA cross, OB/OS exits, level filters, plus optional RSI-MA slope & limits)
MACD (signal cross or zero-line cross), Awesome Oscillator (multiple modes)
B-Xtrender, Bull Bear Power Trend, Heiken-Ashi Candlestick Oscillator (HACOLT)
Trend Meter (multi-component trend alignment bar)
Volatility & regime filters:
Waddah Attar Explosion, Volatility Oscillator
Choppiness Index, Damiani Volatmeter
Range Detector (trend/range regime), ATR-based filters in several modules
Volume & flow:
VWAP (with deviation bands and multiple anchor modes)
Chaikin Money Flow
Volume filters (volume > MA, simple up/down, delta options)
Wolfpack ID and similar spread-based measures
Most of these can be used either as hard filters (a setup only triggers if a given condition is true) or simply as visual context via the on/off switchboard. This makes it easy to start with a simple rule set and then progressively tighten conditions as you optimize.
For chart visualization, the script includes a full overlay suite:
Up to 5 fully configurable moving averages (type + length + color)
Optional overlays: EMA pack, SuperTrend, Half Trend, Range Filter (two styles), Bollinger Bands, VWAP, Ichimoku Cloud, Heiken-Ashi candles/oscillator hints, Range Detector boxes, supply/demand & PVSRA-style zones, liquidity zones, Fair Value Gaps (FVG), pivot levels (multi-timeframe, with extended annual/bi-/tri-year, etc.), fractals, and market sessions.
A dashboard/table (position and size configurable) summarizing key status and signals when enabled.
The strategy uses percent-of-equity position sizing by default (10% per trade) and plots optional Long / Short labels on the chart so you can visually inspect exactly where conditions lined up. The “signal expiry” logic allows a leading indicator to fire first, then gives your chosen confirmations a limited number of candles to agree; if they don’t, that setup is discarded and the engine waits for the next valid signal from the leader.
In short, this is not a single “plug-and-play holy grail,” but a DIY strategy lab:
choose your main trend/entry engine,
add or remove filters (trend, momentum, volatility, volume, regime),
visualize everything with overlays and a dashboard,
and then iterate via backtesting and forward-testing to match your market, timeframe, and risk profile.
Important notes:
• Many components (pivots, fractals, some filters) use lookbacks and may recalculate or repaint historically; always forward-test and validate on live/real-time data before using in production.
• Default settings are a starting point only. You are expected to tune the indicator mix, thresholds, and risk management to your own style and instrument.
