BulletProof MacDaddy (MACD) | (2027 Update)
This enhanced MACD indicator is built for crypto trading on TradingView. It spots momentum shifts, reversals, and high-prob buys/sells in volatile markets like BTC or ETH.
Here's how to use it practically: Spotting Trend Changes (Basic Momentum): Watch the MACD line cross the signal line: Upward cross (bullish) = potential buy (e.g., enter long on a crypto dip). Downward cross (bearish) = potential sell/short.
Use zero-line crosses: Above zero = uptrend starting (buy/hold crypto). Below zero = downtrend (sell to avoid losses).
Identifying Momentum Strength/Weakness:Histogram colors show if momentum is building or fading:Green/aqua bars growing = strong bullish push (buy during crypto rallies).
Red/maroon bars growing = strong bearish pressure (sell before dumps).
Fading colors (blue/maroon) = weakening trend (prepare to exit trades).
High-Probability Entries/Exits with Pivots:Green diamonds at histogram bottoms + bullish confirms = buy signal (e.g., crypto bottoming out after a crash—enter long for rebound).
Red flags at histogram tops + bearish confirms = sell signal (e.g., crypto peaking—short or take profits).
Detecting Reversals via Divergences:
Bullish divergence (price lower, histogram higher) = hidden buy opportunity (crypto oversold, reversal up likely).
Bearish divergence (price higher, histogram lower) = hidden sell (crypto overbought, pullback incoming).
