TheVWAP Boulevard

Enveric Biosciences, Inc.NASDAQ

Description

VWAP Boulevard identifies up to three of the highest-volume bars in a chart's history, showing either (or both of):

• Static VWAP lines from the identified high volume bar

• Continuous VWAPs anchored to the high volume bar, persisting in calculation and display through to the present

Boulevard can be applied to any timeframe — though the recommended primary use is daily charts, thus identifying up to three of the highest-volume days within a user-defined search range.

If you have any questions about the indicator's settings, please feel free to message us here on TradingView.

Special thanks to RumpyPumpyDumpy and James Ferreira for their contributions to this script.

Hi, I tried to add the classic VWAP indicator on the chart (daily) but do not match the previous VWAP boulevard, why ? :(

ok... to see the same settings I had to set up the VWAP on HLC3 instead the defaul HL2

HI! Thanks for this great work. icheked CRVS today. VWAP @ market close was $4.25. Its also the Day with the highest volume. But on the daily chart this script shows S1 @ $4,9. Same Problem with LIFE and S2. THANKS
TheVWAP
@VikZerr, this is the same problem that u/nobody came across in other comments.

In TradingView, specifically due to the way this script was coded, we can't reliably access the bar VWAP and instead use the HLC/3 value for that bar. Thus, bar VWAP won't equal HLC/3 but *is* a solid approximation, with some exceptions, particularly on bars with bar VWAP existing far from the near-midpoint (or HLC/3 value, wherever that is).

On Intraday charts ( ES - 30 min) the continuous VWAP levels seem to break and restart at a different level - aren't by definition they supposed to be "Continuous" ? like a Rolling VWAP ?
TheVWAP
@vensonom, that's just a quirk in the way that Pine Script handles the initiation point identification for VWAPs when moving from left to right on the chart.

Rather than scanning the entire chart first to identify the high-volume candles and then plotting, the plots are created as it moves its way from left to right through the available data. So when those levels break and restart, it's because a candle that has higher volume than the prior initiation point has just been identified and the plot resets at the newly identified candle.

There's unfortunately no way around it that we've been able to determine, so you can essentially just ignore all of the breaks and focus only on the continuous VWAPs displayed on the far right of the chart.

Hi, great indicator. If current day is high volume day then 3rd boulevard level is formed on current day and in history is left only two levels. Wouldn't be useful to exclude current day from calculations?
