FibGrid - A. B. C

This Indicator is listed for $1000 and would require $100 per month in subscription for the same stuff. But you can have this for a little work.

1. Switch Over to Monthly Chart
2. Pick a definable SWING
3. Enter those input (SWING LOW / SWING HIGH)

Fib Grid will do the rest.

I am using 0.382 and 0.618 ratios between the levels. (This is what is used in the luxury version of the indicator). Based on few PM, as to why not use 0.786, why not 1.272 etc..... Mostly, the other fib levels will line up with 0.382 or 0.618 of fib levels.

Hi ucsgears, Thanks for posting.

You wrote:

The chart you show here is a Daily. So my simple mind is confused.

In the above chart, the Swing I'm using for AAPL is 7.17 - 28.9. Once this input is provided, the other fib levels are automatically populated.

It does work fine for me. You need to input the Swing High and Swing Low for every ticker manually.
Notice the SL/SH i have here for this chart.

Hi thanks for your reply. So I am gathering your swing high on this chart is about 1.3666 and the low is 1.2677 ish?

For the EURUSD, I am using 0.823 and 0.9589 as my Swing High and Low. This is SUBJECTIVE, you can pick what ever you want.

Guys, Working on the tedious process of adding more intermediate fib levels to this. Expect a version 2 soon. The intermediate Fib levels will be useful for those daytraders / scalers out there. Version 3 - planned to automate the Level selection process, based on the price.

USCGEARS...is there any significance to the color coding for the levels? What do the red, green, and black colors signify?

Red lines are the fib levels and extension 0, 1, 1.618, 2.618 and so on..
Green lines are the first retracement levels 0.382 and 0.618 of all red levels . Black lines are the second retracement of all the extensions and retracements from the first levels.

Per request, I would like to share a method on how I use Renko chart with Fib Grid indicator. Start with Renko chart, add Fib Grid indicator. Make sure price chart has "Scale Series Only" toggled ON. This can be done by right clicking your price chart, click Properties located on the very bottom of the drop down menu which pops up, then in the third row is "Scales"....toggle it ON. Select your price levels to use as Swing Point One and Two. Now switch back to a traditional price chart and you will notice this is a very very useful method of plotting levels that can be considered hidden support/resistance. Hidden in the way that by using Renko we are using swing points that matter more than a specific price point at a particular place in time. This allows us to measure the meat of the price action.

This would be the traditional price chart after switching back from the Renko price chart.

We will leave this as is for now, I will add other features in future on how we can utilize Fib Grid even more.

I tried your suggestion of using Renko first and it does work really well. I established the first major swing for level 0 on a monthly chart, then added the next two levels. Thanks for the suggestion.

A New arithmetic and a logarithmic sequencing tool, Been breaking my head with the Mathematical relationship that has been applied in Combinatorics . This is one of the most ancient arithmetic sequencing method that has been used back in 6 BC. Over a few months of research and application in trading, The Results are -

This may appear to be Fibonnacci, It is not. All the examples, I am plotting two levels, This sequencing can go upto nth level, as long as the levels are not negligible. When I am ready to share it, I am sure you guys will appreciate this.

As a follow up to the above charts, based on other sequencing methods, The ratios of the Fib overlaps, Infact the so called key ratios overlaps with most of the sequencing theory i came across. If it doesnt have a direct correlations, a meaningful derivative does coincide.

sequencing looked into are - Catalan, Gann,

A wave dampening sequence - Cauchy Sequence is under study. I am expecting to see this work well with squeezes. Will let you guys know if there is any success.

until then GL trading.

I am working on Making this a bit more effective, optimizing script to minimize load time. Automatic Swing/Hi Lo for selected tickers. ETC. This code is one that needs tedious attention while scripting. Some time soon.
The next version will have the optimized code.

Thank you ucsgears, the work is appreciated, i discovered your code while looking to create a similar fib within fib within fib indicator. Your code is very similar, and reading through this thread, I see you continue to improve the script, thank you. Consider this, it seems to work very well for the manual placement of fibs within fibs, for the following year.

High and Low values = this previous year's High (H), Low (L) and Close (C) into this formula, to populate the High and Low within your code:

( (H+L+C)/3)*2 = Value (V)
High = V-L
Low= V-H

Thanks again
