MMM Growth Momentum Dashboard v6

What it does
A growth dashboard that combines 15 growth-sensitive inputs into a month-end held composite z-score, a live impulse z-score, and a live 0–100 nowcast. It includes credit, labor, surveys, orders, permits, production, CLI, copper/gold, and regional Fed breadth-style data, plus diffusion, acceleration, and top impulse drivers. Symbols, labels, and inclusion toggles are configurable.

How it works
The composite uses the same adaptive z-score structure as the other dashboards: 104-week short lookback, 260-week long lookback, and 0.60 weight on the short z. Regime bands are RECESSIONARY at or below -0.50, EXPANSION at or above 0.50, and BOOM at or above 1.00. Depending on the input, the script uses percent ROC, point change, inversion, or ratio logic so that each series is treated in a way that is directionally sensible for growth. The nowcast is a 50/50 blend of the month-end composite score and live impulse score.

Default setup
Default weekly-base lookbacks are 13 weeks for 3m change, 52 weeks for 12m change, and 13 weeks for impulse delta. Default weights are: Banks Tightening 0.75, Single-Family Permits 1.25, HY Spread (inv) 0.50, Manu/NonManu 1.00, US PMI 1.75, Initial Claims (inv) 1.50, Copper/Gold 0.75, ADP Employment Change 0.25, Continuing Claims (inv) 0.75, Industrial Production YoY 0.75, OECD CLI 1.00, ISM NO - Inventories 2.00, ISM Employment 1.25, Capex Orders ex Aircraft 1.25, and Regional Fed Survey Composite 1.50.

How to use it
Treat the held composite as the broader growth backdrop, the live impulse as the near-term momentum swing, and the nowcast as the blended reading. This dashboard is most useful when the slower composite is still resilient but the live impulse begins to turn, or when breadth starts improving before the headline growth complex fully confirms.

Misc.
The hidden outputs for companion indicators are GROW_ME_COMPOSITE_Z_SOURCE, GROW_IMPULSE_Z_SOURCE, and GROW_NOWCAST_SOURCE. The “Top Impulse Drivers” row highlights which inputs are currently contributing most to the live move.
